How it works
Each page of the original PDF is extracted into a new, independent PDF file, preserving the content exactly as in the original, using the open-source pdf-lib library. All resulting pages are zipped into a single file for a convenient download. Everything happens locally in your browser.
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No — splitting happens entirely in your browser. The file never leaves your computer.
How do I get the result?
Inside a single ZIP file containing one PDF file for each page of the original document.
Does it work with password-protected PDFs?
No — encrypted/password-protected files need to have that protection removed first.
