How it works
The text or link you enter is encoded entirely in your browser, using the QR Code standard (JIS X 0510), and drawn onto a <canvas> — nothing is sent to any server, so the content of your QR Code is never logged or shared.
Error correction level
The higher the error correction level, the more redundancy the QR Code carries — it stays readable even if partially dirty, scratched, or with a logo overlaid in the center, but the code becomes visually denser. For general use, level M (medium) is a good balance.

Does the QR Code expire or stop working?
No — the QR Code generated here is "static": the content is encoded directly into it, so it works forever, with no dependency on any server.
Can I add a logo in the middle of the QR Code?
This tool only generates the QR Code as a PNG; to overlay a logo, edit the image afterward in an image editor, using a high error correction level (Q or H) to keep it readable.
